Wooing Tree is a family owned single vineyard site, situated in the heart of Central Otago next to the town of Cromwell and opposite the "Big Fruit Sculpture".

The location gives a perfect mix of various sub-regional climates and optimum heat degree-days.

Specialising in Pinot Noir they aim to produce rich and intense fruit flavours from low yielding vines. Shoot and bunch thinning, pruning and harvest are all carried out by hand to ensure premium quality fruit.

This Pinot Noir is the flagship wine from the family owned and run, single vineyard site and is a great follow on from the multi award winning 2005. Ripe hand picked fruit, gentle winemaking and maturation in French oak have resulted in a complex and powerful wine, with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and Black Doris plums, a rich and silky smooth palate with fine grainy tannins to match the fruit. Excellent value, drinking fantastically well now and will develop and cellar for several years.
